So off we went to the Nokia Starlight Cinema......
packed a picnic basket full of goodies and along with Pappe
caught Harry Potter, didn't manage to stay for both shows though cuz it got rather uncomfortable..... midway through the show you can see people leaving liao. haha
but i must say, this year's crowd is much more then last year's at Fort Canning......
somehow i prefer Fort Canning, even though it's warmer and all, the ambience felt better.

Going for the Starlight Cinema thingy tonight!!!
We're bringing a picnic basket with Pappe (our dog) innit!!!
They're showing Harry Potter tonight, and Ju's all crazy abt Harry
Hope it doesn't rain.... if not *gulp*
So going on the run by myself tomorrow onwards
Suppose to be operational on monday but a colleague's on long MC and they're short of staff.
Scared and excited at the same time. Confident but fearful sometimes.....
No more buddy paramedic to support and all......
Oh well, i guess it's confidence-building time and experience that'll count......
hopefully everything goes smoothly on the first day, my first day on my own......

Ok so my 2 weeks probation at Changi's going quite alright.....
Peeps are friendly, relak and chilled.... haha
finished my LMA insertion yesterday at Alexandra Hospital.....
I'm telling you OT (Operating Theatre) rocks!!!
That's the best part of the hospital i love besides A&E......
Cuz you get to see the inside of human beings and all.......
ok not that i'm a sick shit but i mean i get to visualise what i've learnt better, you know for better appreaciation and application..... that sort of thing.....
it's all in the job, baby!!!
Guess how long GA (General Anesthesia) take to knock a person out?
10 secs, uh huh.... that's right....... 10 secs and you're out, flat.....
the gas is really some potent shit i'm telling you!!! along with the iv drugs given and all....
oh, i had my first "Fall from height" case today.....
yup yup, as they call it "Superman" or "Parachuting without the chute"
guess the old bugger couldn't see any meaning to life and decided to take his own
from 11 storeys above, splat flat on the void deck.....
sigh, to me, it really takes alot of guts to jump.....
i mean i look down at the ground floor from the 20th storey and my legs are trembling abit already!!! what the heck! and these jumpers can do it.......
guess the bugger really went through alot to jump and all.......
sigh, sadly Singapore has an average of 1 case of fall from height per day.
can you imagine that??!!!
something to reflect on our lives and all.....

k so they want us to learn how to don a CA (chemical agent) suit
to deal with any CA cases...... thought us the steps and all
damn the mask, cuz it's hot and it's hard to breathe due to the filter and all
then they threw us into a chamber and lit up 10 tables of tear gas!!!
the place who gased up, but we can't smell a thing.
till the instruction came "ok i want you guys to take off your mask one by one!"
i was the first to go, i held my breathe, but lost it somehow.....
so when my mask was off, i inhaled once.....
then all hell broke lose!!! my face was burning like it was smeared with chilli padi.....
a sudden choking feeling engulfed my lungs and i couldn't open my eyes cuz it hurts!!!
went out of the room, coughing and choking, gasping for air......
felt like puking but nothing came out, wides shut cuz it was still burning.....
was told not to touch my face for it'll make it worse, the wind will blow it off.....
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite!!! never appreaciated normal clean air so much in my life....
but it was an experience, knowing that this is only tear gas.....
there are much worse chemical agents that can kill in seconds, minutes.....
finishing my course tomorrow! woooooooot!
